Santa Claus’s Secret Forest is a truly hidden location

Joulukka – Santa Claus Secret Forest is hidden deep in the arctic forests. To preserve its magic and privacy, the forest cannot be reached by private car, taxi, or independent travel. Plan your visit and book in advance; transportation is always arranged for you. The journey begins the moment you are collected by our elves or drivers. From there, the forest opens only to those who have been invited.

Important Update:

If you have selected Visit Rovaniemi Tourist Information Office as you pick-up location:
the new pick-up location is Korkalonkatu 26, in front of Pub Pisto

There will be no more pick-ups from Visit Rovaniemi from 22.12.2025 onwards.

Group Programs (November to March)

Group programs include pick-up from selected locations in Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village.
When making your reservation, you will be shown the available pick-up points and asked to choose the one most convenient for your family.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will share the exact meeting place and time, and the elves will greet you there to guide you into the Secret Forest.

Private Programs (Available All Year)

Private programs include pick-up from a location of your choice within a 10 km radius of Rovaniemi city center.
During the booking process, you may select or enter your preferred pick-up address, ensuring the elves know exactly where to find you.

This personalised transfer makes every private program begin gently and seamlessly, no matter the season.

Important to Know when you Plan Your Visit

• The Secret Forest cannot be reached independently by car, taxi, or on foot.
• All visits must use the transportation provided with your booking.
• Pick-up locations must be confirmed in advance so the elves can plan your arrival.
• Exact pick-up times are shared in your confirmation email.
